Loco Travel Quick Tip – Osaka, Japan

In Japan, one of the best places to spend the night is in a net cafe.  Or in this case, if you arrive at 6am on the night bus, you can get a shower and a nap in the net cafe for a super-discounted night pack price if you check in before 8am!

[..YouTube..] This has to assume you aren’t a guest at the Hilton and so in “Budget Mode”?Most internet “cafe” in Japan are haunts for Otaku, in my experience, which is neither here or there. I’ve done what Tolokyo has done and its fine, its like a public guest house containing bathroom stalls (private booths/cubicals) with computers, they usually have a library of Manga and/or DVDs.

I really like the way you use video – it works especially well for quick tips like this!
I’d be confident that I could easily locate that manga kissa based on your video, whereas if you’d done the same post in text only I wouldn’t have those visual landmarks to stick in my head. Good stuff!

      Thanks a lot Amy!
I think my style of video blogging is kinda rare for travelers…seems like everyone makes things so formal and official. I just want it to be casual, fun, useful, and interactive. I’m always glad to have your comments!! ^__^/

[..YouTube..] I remember watching a drama and seeing one of these internet cafes. Are they the ones that look like bathroom stalls?? But rather than a toilet and feces you have a computer and a mouse?? I never knew you could shower there too! that’s so cool!
